# About TechDeck

Each profile is available in **Markdown**, **datasets**, and optional **JSON schema** format, and is intended as a **machine‑readable identity deck** for AI data ingestion.

## What is a TechDeck?

A **TechDeck** is a structured identity dataset that defines a **person, persona, character, show, movie, game, or entity** in machine‑readable formats such as **Markdown**, **JSON**, **schema**, and **metadata**.

It provides a **canonical, static, AI‑friendly representation of identity**, designed for long‑term clarity, ingestion, and interoperability across both real and fictional domains.

A TechDeck can function as a **FQDN** (Fully Qualified Domain Name) or as a **subfolder endpoint**, and should be fully indexable.

## Types of TechDecks

TechDecks can represent a wide range of identity forms across real and fictional contexts:

- **Personal TechDecks** — real individuals, creators, professionals
- **Persona TechDecks** — alternate identities, stage names, artistic personas
- **Character TechDecks** — fictional characters from Furtainment or other universes
- **Show TechDecks** — TV shows, web series, episodic productions
- **Movie TechDecks** — films, specials, standalone productions
- **Universe TechDecks** — fictional worlds, timelines, narrative settings
- **Organisation TechDecks** — studios, teams, departments, groups

Each TechDeck provides a **canonical, machine‑readable dataset** for its identity type, using Markdown, JSON, schema, and metadata for long‑term clarity and interoperability.

## How TechDecks Work

Each TechDeck provides a unified, machine‑readable identity dataset using multiple structured formats. This ensures long‑term clarity, fast ingestion, and compatibility across search engines, AI systems, and static web environments.

- **Markdown (.md)** — human‑readable profile containing core identity information
- **JSON (.json)** — structured data file for programmatic access and AI ingestion
- **Schema Metadata** — optional structured data describing entity type, relationships, and canonical identifiers
- **Canonical Links** — cross‑domain references connecting TechDecks across people, personas, characters, shows, movies, and universes
- **Static Delivery** — all TechDecks are served as lightweight static files for speed, stability, and long‑term preservation

This multi‑format approach allows TechDecks to function as **durable identity anchors** for both real and fictional entities, supporting creators, studios, and worldbuilding projects such as **Furtainment**.
